As we wrap up this year, I just want to take a moment to send a HUGE Thank You to our amazing members!  Thank you for all the unforgettable moments, the laughs that kept us all in good spirits, and for your incredible progress in mastering the French language - aka, the puzzle box that some say was designed to keep learners on their toes...  

Chacun à sa manière (each in their own way), let’s continue to draw inspiration from our shared cultures, believing that even the smallest moments are worth celebrating. Whether you're perfecting your French accent, mastering the art of pastry, or sharing a café au lait with a new friend, we’re excited to sprinkle a little extra joie de vivre into your 2025 at AF Raleigh.

If you haven't yet tried any of our clubs, maybe now is the perfect time. We offer something for everyone: Café, Pétanque, Conversation du Mardi, Walk in French, Club de Lecture, or Ukulele - all free for AF members. 

A highlight this month is our relatively new (can a tradition be new?) tradition: the King's Cake Contest on January 12th. Whether you bake your galette des rois with classic French frangipane or add your own creative twist, we can’t wait to see your delicious creations!

Here’s to a year full of new adventures, fresh connections, and of course, the perfect balance of cheese and wine!
